RENARD - FULL TECHNO JACKASS
It’s been an interesting few days! Yesterday, I had to have Squeedge (for those not in the know, she’s the main visual artistic force behind LAPFOX and PSURG) rushed to the Emergency Care Centre for severe abdominal pain, and it turns out she’s got a case of kidney stones. So it was luckily nothing deathly serious! However, since she doesn’t have health insurance and Canadian health care only covers Canadian residents, it cost quite a pretty penny to have her seen and put through scanning and whatnot. As such, I’ve compiled a super fun collection of sketch and scribble audio work of mine to release as a NAME YOUR PRICE fundraising album, so to speak. It features a lot of fun (and funny!) bits and pieces of rapid-fire music that came together as an oddly satisfying full album!

Another commission for Anuvia, of her character Scen (also seen here in floof-dog form), this time as a dinosaur! This was part of the dino-commissions I took a while back, it just took me a bit longer because I’m still getting into the swing of markers. This character works so well as a big drooly fluff beast, ahhh <3
I always hoped someone would commission me to draw them as a Pokemon trainer! Better yet that I got an excuse to draw a Steelix! Commission for Ere of his coyote-deer character, dressed as Gold.
The other day Renard and I spent an inordinate amount of time looking at shiba inu. We came across this one picture and Ren was like “OH MY GOD, YOU HAVE TO DRAW TRUXTON WITH THAT FACE” and so I did.
This cutie patoot is available in both SHIRT and STICKER form!
It’s worth noting I did this with the Monoprice 10X6.25 tablet, which you can get here for about $50. I’ll write a more fleshed-out review, but here’s the gist: I don’t believe it out-preforms higher level WACOM tablets like some have stated, but it comes pretty damn close in comparison, and I’d highly recommend it. No, the pressure sensitivity isn’t as good as my Intuous3 or Cintiq, but for the price it’s almost negatable.

I really didn’t give myself enough time to work on art before AC, so I’m currently playing catch-up… without my own computer. Thankfully, with the profits from dealing I’ve purchased a laptop for myself and it should be here soon!
I figured as long as I’m without a computer of my own to draw on, might as well do some self-indulgent character art.
This is Roscoe, and it’s probably not hard to guess what she does in her spare time. In typical female hyena fashion she’s quite domineering.
There are about a hundred kazillion flaws in this, but I’m still getting into the swing of doing traditional art, and a lot of that involves me staring blankly at a piece of paper screaming “WHAT IS THIS.”
